FIRST THING’S FIRST, BY CHOOSING TO BE A MEMBER OF OUR FLOWER SHARE/CSA YOU ARE OPTING INTO SUPPORTING YOUR LOCAL COMMUNITY ECONOMY, A WOMAN RUN, REGENERATIVE FARM, AND YOU ARE INFUSING YOUR RESOURCES DIRECTLY INTO SOMETHING YOU CAN FEEL GOOD ABOUT. FUNDS FROM THESE SHARES HELP OUR FARM TO PURCHASE SEEDS, COMPOST, AMENDMENTS, AND GREENHOUSE GROWING SUPPLIES FOR THE COMING SEASON. THESE SUBSCRIPTIONS ARE CRUCIAL ON OUR END, SO WE WHOLE HEARTEDLY APPRECIATE YOU, AND WILL PROMISE TO GIVE YOU OUR VERY BEST OF BLOOMS.
THIS SIX WEEK SESSION IS WHEN THE FARM IS IN FULL SWING AND OUR FIELDS ARE FULL OF EVERY COLOR AND TEXTURE OF FLOWER. THESE BOUQUETS ARE GORGEOUS!!
6 WEEKS OF UNIQUE, HAND-TIED BOUQUETS PICKED AND ARRANGED JUST FOR YOU ON OUR SAUVIE ISLAND FARM. EACH WEEKLY BOUQUET WILL FEATURE A DIFFERENT, ROTATING VARIETY (SUCH AS DAHLIAS, ROSES, SCABIOSA, ERYNGIUM, FEVERFEW, SUNFLOWERS, LIZZY, ZINNIAS, YARROW, AMARANTHUS) ALONG WITH AN ASSORTMENT OF OTHER FUN TEXTURES AND FOLIAGE.
GATHER UP THOSE LUSCIOUS BLOOMS, TOAST UP SOME EARLY MORNING BAGELS AND WATCH THE SUN RISE. HERE COMES THE GLISTENING AUTUMNAL SIDE OF SUMMER, WE MUST SAVOR THIESE FLEETING MOMENTS.
HOW IT WORKS & DETAILS
Your CSA share begins in early August and will be available through early September. There will be two pickup locations, Milk Glass Market ( 2150 N. Killingsworth ) and the farm ( 20609 NW Sauvie Island Rd ) Island Farm Studio will communicate via email to inform all members of updates and the official start date. Please send us an email at christine@islandfarmstudio.org if you are not receiving notifications near the projected flower subscription start date.
You can share your share! Since our flowers last so long, sometimes you don't need a new batch every week or you might be going on vacation during the summer. Just have someone else pick up your share whenever you like. Consider splitting it with a friend where you can potentially alternate weeks.
If you are unable to complete one of the selected pickups, feel free to gift it to a friend or loved one. If you are unable to make the pick up, we will donate your bouquet to one of our local women's shelter partners.
As a member of Island Farm Studio flower subscription, it’s important to remember the abundance and the risks of farming alike. Sometimes risks can include poor harvests due to unexpected weather or pests but it can also be bountiful with the most beautiful healthy flowers you’ve seen.
There are no refunds or exchanges on purchases.
